Home theaters are our passion!  To be able to hear the highest quality sound and feel the ultimate movie theater experience is what we live and breathe.   To some people, a dedicated home theater has become a 55” TV hung on the wall with some off the shelf surround sound speakers.  To Low Volt Connections it’s much more than that.  It’s the room, the lighting, the colors, the décor, the acoustics, the curtains, the seating, and the electronics that make it all come together.  Creating this cinema experience is only limited by your imagination.

The Process:

There are three main stages to go through when creating your own home theater, starting with the design.  In the designing phase, we will sit down together and talk about what you want your theater to look and sound like.  You can tell us exactly what you envision for the room, and we are more than happy to offer any helpful suggestions or tips.  There are numerous possibilities that clients are sometimes not aware of when designing, that play a big role in pulling your room together.  For instance, you have the option to have the speakers custom made to match the existing wood in your home, the electronics can be flush mounted into the wall to give the theater a cleaner look, or if you choose in-wall speakers we can hide the speaker grills by matching the paint of the walls or matching curtains or window coverings.  Once we have “the big picture” all planned out and designed, we will be able to provide you with detailed project estimates and wire schematics.

The second phase is the pre-wire phase.  During this point in the project we install the wiring that will make the theater function, which can be done in both new construction as well as existing homes.  Low Volt Connections uses high quality wire and cabling to ensure that your room performs at its best.

The third and final phase is the installation phase.  We will be installing all the electronics, rack mounting the equipment and fitting them with their custom made cables, aligning the projector and screen, and installing all the speakers.  Once everything is in place we will equalize the rooms’ acoustics and make sure you get the best sound possible.

Once everything is installed and programmed the fun begins!  We will sit down with the family and go through the entire system to ensure everyone understands how to run all the new aspects of your new home theater.
